Yes, why, whats the problem?

"Well i'm using this free email thing on yahoo, and it wont work."

Trundles over, having no experience of yahoo free email, I use the altavista one, set it up, test it, pronounce working, start to leave...

"But but thats not the problem, thats not what I wanted..."

I started to scratch my head and ask what the real problem was, and if he actually had to use the yahoo one, he then explained that he wanted the computer to tell him if he had email before logging on, to save on the cost of calls.....

I left, slowly, trying not to break eye contact.
